- Call to Order, quorum established 5:55pm
- Reading and approval of minutes
- New business
- Auction funds allocation VOTE
- First 2 auctions dedicated to covered playground, hope is to use this as seed money or rely on PPS bond for cover.
- For 2020-2021 year, PTA members voted to make auction funds available for needed items now. Four ideas from staff/teachers. PlayWorks (recess/activities) declined, costs up to $30K to sustain. Chrome books/tech cart declined, covered by grant which is in last stages. Approved – Reading Results: 2 kids, half hour, 3x a week. 1-3 grade $5,000. Approved – $1000 grant per grade for teachers for field trips, guest speakers, materials stay with the school. Total $10-11K for grants.
- Auction raises about $25,000. 20% goes to PTA general fund.
- PTA commits to Reading Results/literacy. Principal strongly backs. Motion – Amy Gilkey. PTA moves forward with designating this 2019-2020 school year’s auction funds for one year 2020-2021. Reading Results & grade level/certified staff grants will get portion which is dependent on funds received, minus 20% for PTA general fund. Seconded. Motion passes unanimously.

- Auction – meeting Thursday, Dec 12. See Amy Gilkey. Monthly meetings to plan, solicit contributions, set aside funds for teachers to attend for free.
- Board – could use more volunteers! 2 years limit per role.
