The next general meeting of the César Chávez PTA is Wednesday, December 4, 2019. At this meeting, all PTA members in attendance will be asked to vote on how the PTA should allocate funds we expect to raise at this year’s event in April.
The Auction committee requested ideas and feedback from staff, teachers, and the administration regarding some ideas on what would be most useful to the school. A prioritized list will be presented for the membership to vote on.
The funds already raised in the first two annual auctions were earmarked for a covered play structure for the playground and the Fundraising committee is looking at locating matching outside funds to complete that project. However, there are other pressing needs at César Chávez and the PTA membership decided to consider other items for this year’s potential funds.
